Presented here for your consideration and inspection, is this 1974 Triumph TR-6 turned out in the original brilliant white exterior with a contrasting black interior, soft top and tonneau. This is an original example that has not been restored, but rather maintained as an occasional driver for nice days and special events.
The speedometer shows 72,000 miles, which, from all indicators, is actual mileage. Recent ongoing reconditioning includes a complete disassembly and reseal on the engine, new radiator, carburetors rebuilt. seats recovered, a new soft top, battery and red line tires. The engine has also been detailed & upgraded with a polished aluminum valve cover.
Enhancements also include a custom, black vinyl covered, hard top, black tonneau, bumper mounted road lights and a throaty sounding Ansa four outlet performance exhaust system. The interior boasts recovered seats in the original black with white inserts, new door panels and carpet.
The car starts, runs, drives, stops and handles very well. With the hard top removed you experience the authentic wind in your hair exhilaration of a true British sports roadster.
The 4 speed manual gearbox is quiet and shifts well, clutch operates smoothly and the independent rear suspension functions as it should.
The body panel fit is very good and the body, being from the Southwest is solid and rust free.
