1969 TransAm convertible that has been recently, completely, groundup restored. .This is not one of the 8 original, authentic 1969 Trans Am convertibles, but rather, an accurate, practical, driveable , parkable, replica that is a tribute to the original and correct in every way, without the stigma of dealing with a very limited production museum car and all that represents.
This significant car is finsihed in Artic White with blue TransAm graphics and white soft top. The paint finish, panel fit and closing gaps are excellent. The interior is splendid in the original style blue vinyl. This is a correct Ram Air 400 engine with a rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission. The car is correct everywhere from the paint and graphics to the badging and Ram Air hood and deck spoiler. The correct factory wheels are shod with period correct US Royal Tiger Paw radial tires to complete the ensemble. This Firebird has virtually no miles since the restoration. The correct Hurst shifter is also present.. The suspension, brakes, exhaust system, glass, top instruments have all been addressed and are comensurate with the rest of the car. This example is also equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power windows, etc.
