Beck Spyder built in 2003. VIN: 555000803. Factory turn key example, finished in German Metallic Silver with Dark Red all weather vinyl. This is not a Kit Car, per se. This was a factory built car that was assembled by craftsman the have done this job many times. So many of these cars are sold as kits and assembled by well meaning people with little or no experience.

This little Spyder is a real pleasure to drive. It is quick and nimble and with 182hp, delivered from the 2165cc engine, it keeps up with traffic very well. We’ve all heard the James Dean story and his racing involvement with the Porsche 550 Spyder. This is for all practical purposes as close as a body could get to owning the real thing. Special attention was paid to the list of available options to make this example as true as possible to the real article. This car is also fitted with the necessary “foul weather” gear, including: convertible top and side curtains, spare tire and wheel, jack and lug wrench.
